Deep Blue

Apollo's radiant eye,
Halfway obscured by the horizon,
Is a globe of fiery rutilance,
That douses the sky,
An amber orange of great vibrance.
Poseidon's progeny,
Drunk with lust and vitality,
Lunge at Gaea's adamantine bosom,
Striving ceaselessly,
To feel the craggy Earth's tingly love.
God's child,
Halfway drunk on wanderlust,
Is a ball of smiles,
As she digs her toes,
Into the sand painted peach by dusk.
The sky now only faintly aglow,
She capers forward,
Her skin refulgent with ocean spray,
As she plows through sapphire waves,
And crashes into the arcane, ominous,
Deep blue.
