Deep Thoughts Challenge
Take my deep thoughts away
Take my deep thoughts away...
You can count sheep but never fall asleep
You can lift the car seat and never find those missing jigsaw pieces
Take my deep thoughts away...
You can ride your bike and never go anywhere
You and sit on a plane and still be still
Take my deep thoughts away...
You can cook a meal and still feel like you've eaten junk
You can watch tv and still not understand what is going on
Take my deep thoughts away...
They are driving me insane
Always thinking about something
And never deciding on anything
Take my deep thoughts away...
And let me be in peace
I am better this way with no more distractions in place

Brilliant write Pratibha, I love how you describe how thinking can be a trauma sometimes ( an amusing description) but so true. The kind of thinking you describe here borders on anxiety, can't concentrate on anything because vague and annoying thoughts keep grabbing the attention ...brilliant ?
