I live in a society
A mixed culture a huge variety
A world full of changes
Going to and from places
Living day by day
Not knowing what to expect? Not knowing what people will say!
Questioning my life
Am I made to be here? Am I good enough? I want to be someone people will accept.
Not knowing “We are all created in God’s image and after his likeness. We we’re born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us, it’s not just in some of us it’s in everyone.”
How will I ever know the difference between being respected and disrespected?
If I had parents who were no good, me as a child me and my siblings were neglected
There are so many wonderful things that God has said about me in his word. I am more than a conqueror through him that loves me.
But it’s only for me to open up my eyes to see
All the great blessings he has in store for me, but with my heart I must believe.
This is just the beginning!
I’m not going back
I’m moving ahead
I’m here to declare to you
My past is over
Because God makes all things new!
We as people are all meant to shine as most of us do
We’re brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous
We we’re born to have problems, sometimes in life we go through
There are times in our lives of when we need breakthroughs
Who are we not to be?
We are children of GOD
Our playing small does not serve the world
There are talented man and woman
Young boy and girls!
My deepest fear was that I’d lived a life irresponsibly
My deepest fear was that people wouldn’t love me they would get under my skin extremely
I’ll always be irritably
It’s our light not our darkness that most frightens us
We step in front of the mirror
To look and say
Who am I?
What have I done?
Why do I look like this?
But I’m here to let you know it takes one nation
To help raise a sovereign generation
We live based on others judgments
Not according to the word and we’re being an abomination
Separated into large groups, full of discrimination
People who don’t meet the standards are up for elimination
My deepest fear was that I never understand my purpose, and what I was made to be!
I just wanted to be a girl who was successful and put fourth good deeds.
Hoping my father would come back around he was someone that I need
World full of pride and contamination
Not knowing the true meaning of life, we have no explanation
It’s time for a change, renovation
We need to all step up, more participation
Gather all the facts, piece together information
Creating a positive impact foundation
The blind leads the blind
But it takes just that one leader to get out of the line and be wise
To have that open heart and open mind
We need one
One of a kind
Who promises to make a difference, and be on their grind?
Who looks up at this sign?
To say I can’t give up I have a mountain to climb
SUPER HOT FIRE
People I’m here to say
God is my provider
He has done so many things for me he continues to be my supplier
No weapon formed against me shall prosper
I want to make it into heaven
I want to step up on judgment day to know my name is in the book of life
My name is on the very roster
My goal in life was to become a writer
Chase after my dreams
Take things up a notch and take it to the supreme
Do what I desire
Block out every enemy
Blow out the wildfires
I stay up all night in my journal I pull an all nighter
I want to change the world
I can be a true inspire
Never do my words run out they never expire
When the lights go out I pull out the lighter
Super, Hot, Fire
I come for the kill with these verses just put out a timer
I speak the truth, words of wisdom, never a denier
But when things hit me hard
I still am a fighter
I got my friends on my side who's my rider
Never am I lame
I made it to the top of the tower
Welcome to the hall of fame
Unique Bri the poet that’s my name
With my messages im direct
I never got to throw shade
Im here to keep it real with the world
Not put up a maze
Get your head in the game
I goes hard for my God because he’s super
He’s better than what’s underneath my feet Lucifer
Im full of Joy
Never do I treat my gifts and talents as a toy
I take advantage use it to the best of my ability and enjoy
I have my freedom
I know you probably like dang she cold
You see these words don’t just read em
Believe em
I shoot for high goals I’m a hooper
I goes so hard that I cant even breathe
But God saved my soul I’ve been redeemed
I don’t have to curse in my message
I can be a positive impact to others with my words and still be clean
This is a piece of advice that you all need
You must have the strength to endure
A heart that believe
A mind that’s open and willing to receive
Im not just spitting words at you
Im speaking to you knowledge
Cause most of you street smart not book
You cant even pick up the word of God to look!

Jesus is the reason; we're still here, we've mad it this far to see this very season!
