Defense Mechanism

Human nature puts us on the defense naturally.
Especially when we are challenged...
verbally or physically.

It takes hard work to actually process...
what has been said...
and determination to execute the advice given...
to improve the flaws that were pointed out

At first, you think...
how could this person truly care about me...
if they are hurting my feelings
It is because of their love for you...
that they are trying to help you become a better person
