Deformed Window

Views astray, coming across the shadows bare.

Eyes of clay, blinded in this sightless glare.

Here I stand, deserted never to be found.

My demand, across this wasteland I m bound.

Through myself, I see the life set before us.

We engulf, denying all thought that bore us.

Look outside, the truth that I endure and hide.

Friends aside, you are the one that kept me tied.

Happiness, a mask you pulled over my face.

The truth is, you held me down kept in disgrace.

I see now, I no longer view from inside.

My new vow,  to see without these clouded eyes.

A new life, I will put myself to the test.

No more strife, pain no longer can you molest.

Shut the doors, walk away from the lies you stow.

Nevermore, to view through your deformed window.

I feel your heart. We tend to judge ourselves unfairly throught the view of somebodies deformed window.

Well done
