Deja Vu

Deja Vu

Tears water the flowers
That sit in a glass vase
Upon the kitchen window sill

A sky sits above a green garden
That bring a subtle cover
To protect our souls

A child plays outside
Yet inside she is screaming
For spider anxiety has struck

Night falls on 12th street
As the tired clock
Ticks and ticks

Sunrise arrives
A sense of déjàvu,
Perhaps.
