THE DEMONS INSIDE ME

A family on the run
Fearful of their home
The happenings they were haunting
The demons they would roam
But the horror it did follow them
The beings wanted more
But it wasnât bricks and mortar
But their son to be their whore
Take his soul and mind away
Leave him in a darkened place
Watched over by the devil
In this lost and lonely space
No coma did he suffer
The doctors they were lost
But the family they knew different
Get him back; donât care the cost
So the lady came to seek them out
To help them with their plight
Take the father to a world beyond
Bring back their little mite
This poor woman saw the evil
Demons wandered this boyâs room
The red eyed master circled him
Awaiting the childâs doom
When this shell of heavenly virtue
Was ready for him to fill
Enter all his deathly charm
Into a body with no will
No time that they must waste
His poor soul soon gone for good
Evil weighing heavy now
Beckoning for his blood
... So as she put the father in
A deep and restless sleep
Went looking for his son
Those tormentors couldnât keep
Through the channels of his mind
And the labyrinth of his soul
He entered in the darkened world
A nightmare hellish hole
Surrounded by dark angels
Devils in disguise
Grasping out to hold him back
Filling him with lies
Lost within a maze
A place he knew so well
His old home that they once lived in
Had now become his hell
As he past the screaming souls
It took him to a door
Defended by a demon
Who knocked him to the floor
But as he listened to the cries for help
He heard his young sonâs voice
The hope that gave him strength
Meant his heart could now rejoice
So he mustered all his power
Flung this evil spirit down
Entered through the door
But was met with a sad frown
Sat all alone and scared
Within the depths of this dark room
His son pointed to the Master
And he felt the devil loom
Scooping up his child
Never wanting to let go
He went back through the chambers
Keeping heads down very low
Trying to avoid them
Not to catch their wicked stare
Couldnât have them weaken him
Pull him back into their lair
The further that he ran
Soft words he could now hear
The woman she was calling him
âCome back to us my dear â
The demons they were on him
They had seen what he had done
He ran for all his worth
His son he had now won .....
....... Awakening from his sleep
Gasping wildly for air
His head it felt so strange
Couldnât take in what was there
The Mother she was crying
Tears of happiness and joy
Awakened from his coma
Was their beautiful âbabyâ boy
Relief now filled the air
Their little lad was back
The woman took the father's hand
Looked in his eyes of black
The demon had returned
When the Dad brought back his boy
Heâd sacrificed his own sad soul
The Master he'd never destroy .......
