Demon Strings

She cried for all melancholy souls

Painting in sounds the sadness of all time

Showing the roses

of a life that might have been

Her bow caressing the wanton strings

Fondling the spirit of need and desire

Music that came from within

Such delicate sounds of velvet muse

Such loneliness coming from the wood

Such soulful need for romance and passion

Her beauty ephemeral beyond this world

Translucent desirable calling me to her

I will give my very soul

For just an evening of her writhing passion

Smiling she accepts my unspoken thought

Did you think the Devil had horns

and a lizard tail?

She whispered
