Depression
Rejection… A lock n chain,
inception… Takes over your brainÂ
reaction… Now you’re insaneÂ
you’re forever engulfed in flameÂ
 Â
Constantly… The pain boils,
soundlessly…Your heart spoilsÂ
helplessly… Every nerve broilsÂ
you’re paralyzed all the sameÂ
 Â
Smiling… You bleed inside,Â
laughing… You cower and hideÂ
blushing… To the knife you confideÂ
you’re the loser in this gameÂ
 Â
How can they not see you’re hurt,
behind the feeble disguise?Â
the little red blinking alert,
that’s buried in your eyesÂ
 Â
Your eyes, the only window to your soul,
where everything slowly dies.
They said its okay… they liedÂ
because it’s still there in your eyes.
