When the depression
Hits you hard
And you try desperately
Not to fall
Because when you hit the ground
You won't get back up
And the Earth
Will swallow you whole

Like it's moving slower
And the darkness
Is drawing ever closer
Every step
Looking behind you
Shadows seem daunting
Because depression hits hard

And you barely pull yourself out of bed
Barely want to breathe
Barely get ready
Barely live
Because everything takes too much energy

I'm sorry you also struggle with depression, but at least you've found a way to cope and make out more bearable. I too write about it in attempt to purge it out.Ā
The depression comes and goes, sometimes its worse, sometimes its better. You never know what you're gonna get. I like to write for more than myself though if that makes any sense haha. I'm here if you ever wanna talk though, my ears and eyes both work. Just gotta take it one day at a time and remember that you're never alone :)
