Destined

Destined

I've lived a lifeĀ of pain, of anguish yet so has many another.

From birth I've been destined to rule like no other.

But this was only ever in my mind.

I'd see a person and wonder if their life was fatefully signed.

To be prolonged only, to play shadow to mine.
