Destitute Of Love

Destitute Of Love

i truly believed..once upon a time
That I have freed..ripped myself away from that life of crime
That is when you flew into my soulless life
And filled me with unfathomable emotion
The way a dove..the whitest dove leaves its bright abode
And fearlessly enters the domain of dragons that are the hawks and eagles
You showed me that it was possible that I could change
You showed me that I could rise and fly
Surpass the fierce that claimed the sky
But, I lost my vision of lofty sights of love
And let the dread of storms descend
On our love that that never hinted of a drastic end
You were my angel
You were my dove
Now you are destitute of love
And I must be condemned
