Poem -

Destroy His Child

Were you suffering from emotional atrophy?

Why would you permit a vulture to impregnate you?

He used and misused you, wherefore, you sought revenge.

But he disappeared with the wind and sought another woman.

Wherefore, I was forced to suffer in his absence.

You were a monster, and you loved it.

You were psychologically unstable, plus, addicted to crack.

I watched you deteriorate in fragments, ashamed of your ghetto glory.

You were skilled at venality, but you swore you would never turn a trick.

I witnessed madness. You exposed a nation to cocaine.

I remember your heinous ways. They haunt my reflection.

You were determined to destroy me.

You introduced me to the misery of God.

But I survived Satan’s prison. Wherefore, I love you.
