Destroy you

Everything in me wants to destroy  you 
everything you did to me, I never deserved 
All I ever wanted was to love and be loved 
You with your demons you’d unleash on me 
I thought if I could love you, I’d fix you 
But instead you set out to break me too, so you wouldn’t be alone 
I am so mad at the real ones that hurt you 
that made you believe you are not worthy of love
that made you scared and to never trust 
but I do not deserve to pay for their sins 
I loved you but it was never enough to fill the hole
I want to destroy you for what you’ve done 
I want to unleash the demons you created in me 
but instead I’ll slay them with my love 
I’ll defeat them with my empathy 
I’ll cast them out by my strength and self love
And I’ll be better and stronger and no longer a target 
I wish you could do the same but instead you’ll just continue destroying yourself
