Devil went to Church

The devil went to church on sunday in search of a soul to steal. 
He was tired waiting on monday and today he had nerves of steel. 
He walked right in and looked around as he tugged on his new suit. 
He found a seat and crossed his legs to show off his snake skin boots. 
He knew he had to find a soul that was cold so it would to be weak. 
And he looked right over to sister blank who sat next to his seat. 
They say he took out a book and begin to check his list. 
I heard a few of them old saints say they even heard him hiss. 
He whispherd in sister Blank ear look at sis Jane in her tight dress. 
She haven't been here in nearly a year it's time for her to confess. 
Now look there at brother Jack he knows he's treating his wife wrong. 
Last night he stayed over sis Sally so late I throught he was at home. 
About that time sister Blank jumped up with her hands up in the air. 
I rebuke you devil in the name of Jesus now get on up out of here. 
Well that devil got up with his eyes open as his feet hit the floor. 
And I could hear that devil mumbbling as he walked on out the door. 
I heard him say as he walked away sister blank you have won this week. 
But you look for me right here next sunday I refuse to be beat.
