Diary Entry to My Anxiety

Diary Entry to My Anxiety

Dear Anxiety,

Let me breathe.
Let me feel the air go to my lungs instead of choking me.
Let me release my demons out of their cage,
You're keeping them, hostage, too.

Instead of trying to make me forgive, try letting me forget.
That's sometimes all I ask for.
That's all I really want.

Sincerely,
The girl who you took over.
