Earthlings
Earth is a window Where the Logic fly's out of
Trapped inside are Earthlings
Of which there are a lot of
Running around With their heads in a mess
Are they intelligent An Alien would say no at a guess
Self centered things Trampling over each other
To climb up the ladder To get ahead no matter
They are not ready yet Said the Alien observer
We shall leave them alone
For longer than ever.
The brainy?
Oh you intellectuals
Read your learned books
Oh yes and all the classics
And stock exchange crooks
Oh yes bathe in your brain
You know it all, your an elite
Your ok jack, retirement planed
Poverty? No not in your street
You think you’ve contributed
To the betterment of the world
But reality shows History knows
No change has yet unfurled.

Inequality, poverty, what's changed
Scholars intellectuals
Just what have they attained.
When poverty is only known
As a word used in the past
Then and only then
We will be civilized at last.
