Poem -

Disappear

Would it be better
if I could disappear?
Maybe it would hurt less
if I wasn't here?
Every day I wake up
in a prison that I've made.
Maybe it's too late now
for me to be saved?
So much that I've
yet to see.
All my hopes and dreams.
Maybe they have passed me by
and now I'll never see?
If this is how it is now
and nothing is going to change.
I should just drift away
and finally be okay.
