The menacing mind in the middle of the night
Imagines the imaginable
Things that are not right

Twisting the truth images get muddled throughout
Dispicable dreams waking you up with a shout

Producing gobbledygook
Questionable montages

How on earth does this happen
Out of the blue
Faces so familar
Yet we know why or who

Is there a reason they appear
Are they from a past life
Or forgotten memories of our yesteryear

I very rarely dream
But I’m troubled when I do
My dreams are always complicated
A jumbled miscontrue
