Do You?

Do You?

Do you have the slightest clue how much it took to let you through?
The guilt I battled constantly, for asking him to set me free?
Do you ever pause in time while pulling down these walls of mine?
To see that if I love again it means the risk of futher pain?
Do you look into my eyes and know I see through all your lies?
Or are you just a clever fake, who wants some fun while on the make?
Do you wonder what I think as we move closer to the brink?
Will you ever want to stay or am I just another lay?
Do you know the way I feel? My heart is almost yours to steal.
So promise me it's not a game then softly say you feel the same.
