Doesn't take magic

Doesn't take magic

I look up at you with so much love and passion burning inside.
It was crazy to think that counting petals would make you love me.
It was foolish to hope that a wish upon a star would put you in my arms.
I see all the love you have for me and I think how silly it was to ever be so naive.
You're mine, and it didn't take flowers or stars.
All it took was me to speak up, to tell you how I feel.
It doesn't take magic to bring two people together.
It takes two hearts, wanting each other.
