Dog eats Dog 🐕

Golden brown was the bubbling brook, when I watched the river run
Shimmering streaks of spangled silver shadows, shining in the morning sun
Gossamers glistened on yon labyrinth of magical mosaics that were sensationally spun
And Oh what wonder Mother nature showed me, as I scrutinised each and every tiny spinning Spider’s silky web that was won and done…
Creepy, crawlies of cunning curiosity, clandestinely curled up into a little black ball
Sitting ever so patiently, until an innocent insect came along to call
When watching and waiting whilst that creature met it’s deadly downfall
Then scuttling down with eight skinny, spindly legs to wrap that midnight feast amidst a sticky, suicidal shawl..
But this ‘Dog eats Dog’ is purely a pitiless part of good old Mother nature’s moments of mirth
As one and all fights for their fascinating freedom of survival, with every strength of weighty worth
Just like all living things, animals and insects will use their cutthroat killer instinct on a date of death- defying dearth
Living from those luxuries off the land and that depth of the deep, blue salty sea’s wild, width and glorious girth
On a vision for a mission to forage, and feed from the bountiful, forever food chain, feeling fantastically full up with mouthfuls of valuable vegetarian and meaty mirth…
