Domestic.

Love takes a rocky road
Breaking the peace of this abode
Screaming and yelling fill the night
" It is time to put things right ! " ?
A bond that is torn in two
Would anybody have a clue
That harmony could end this way
In such chaos and dismay
The children huddle in fear
Eyes cleansed with every tear
What it is to be afraid of a home
The only sanctuary they have ever known !

Let's do all in our power to end violence of all kinds !
Beautiful Angel Richard..
Your words are amazing...."children huddle in fear" is something we can try to prevent from happening...Chaos reigns in the world of so many young souls....we must protect..
The flow, the imaginary is awesome...you make the mind question...."stop the chaos and disharmony"
Marvellous ! Great conception and delivers the meaning and moves the soul...
Have a great life and writing journey :)
love and hugs
Keep smiling :)

The children and upcoming generations are everything !
To care for and consider the younger is all important to a fully functional and totally integrated society.
My admiration for the poem you submitted today ! I was impressed with your style and could feel the emotion you put into it ! Thank you !

Such an emotive subject, Richard. You are very brave to tackle it and have succeeded to move us with implication and not too much detail.
I echo Brenda Keough's comment about the line, 'The children huddle in fear', it is so simple and yet so powerful!
I also agree with Tony Taylor's choice, 'Eyes cleansed with every tear'.....those words are up with the Classics.
I love your work, you have the talent to really move us!
