Donavan & Delores

Donavan & Delora

Donavan & Delora
They were the loudest of the lot
You’d hear them frantically quackin’
One would think they’d lost the plot

No one could Sssshh them
Not even Nanny goat
So they took them from the farmyard & they sailed them on a boat

Down along the river
Out towards the sea
The two of them escaped
& they flew right back to me

I got my digger & I made them a lake
But they wouldn’t go in it
β€œOh my goodness”
β€œHeavens sake”

Well I went to the Mart
& I bought two black hens
Now my Donavan & Delores
Are quiet in their pens
