Don't Internalize Their Pain

Don't Internalize Their Pain

From the time theyΒ were small and they would fall.

Jumping up to catch them was a parents call.

Those years of tears as they were growing into a teen.

Staying by their bedside so they had a loved one there for them to lean.

Off to college, university or just leaving the nest.

Always on your mind, wishing them well, although at nights their was no rest.Β

When they hurt, although they had grown into an adult.

A parents love never stops, wishing you could help and feeling at fault.

But they are adults and you have done the best you could do.

Now it's time to live your life and do the things you had always wanted to.
