Don't Tug On My Blanket

All our useful rationalizations
we utilize to get through the day
may not always be truth
but they do become so ingrained
into the fabric of our souls
we make them fit into our reality
through sheer force of necessity.. 

So don't try to straighten me out
with your version of pliable facts
that may be your particular
comforting crutch du jour
that works very well for you
and your judgmental ways
