Don't Want to Feel Alone

Icy hot shivers, spreading
Spreading across my skin
Wherever you touch, wherever you kiss
That makes me lose control

I can barely feel it now
Distance numbing the connection
Cutting me off from you
Making me feel..alone

I don't want to feel alone
Don't want to feel its cold embrace
Smothering me in it’s loneliness
Drowning me in nothing

It's a terrible fate for anyone
But especially though for one in love
To have felt their warm embrace
And then be ripped from it

It hurts...let me tell you
Hurts like your heart is
Being ripped out from your chest
For isn’t that what is happening?
