Doorbell

Doorbell

Sorry to bother you,
forgive me if I stare,
my child is hungry,
got some food to spare,
I'm about to lose my home,
the rent is past due,
with nothing to look forward to,
true friends are few,
going from door to door,
with tears in my eyes,
with no words of farewell,
only plastic smiles.

Unfortunately sad but true... A helping hand, or concerns of well being. Have camaraderie faded as years to the past. Our self sufficiency ungrateful ran off compassion. Love thy neighbor. Is a unmeaningful holy phrase. The present day. Rapidly on a one way path of destruction. I'm just awaiting to be awoken from this existence. By God's warm glow of holiness! A great write. Hopefully It's message is understood. Before our president kills us all. With his spray tanned war cries!! Lol can't believe "the Simpsons" predict this election..... God bless us all!
