doorway´s

a small boy stood alone at a doorway-

wondering where his father has gone -

he stood there for nearly an hour -

he senses something is wrong -

#

his mother is still at work -

his brothers and sisters are at school-

why have they left him all alone -

how can they be so cruel -

#

he starts to cry and begins to shake -

his tears filling his eyes -

o where has my daddy gone -

o god tell me why 

#

he´s being crying for a while now -

this is getting out of hand -

how can parents leave a child alone like that 

but for some people this is grand -

#

by the time everybody´s at home -

the boy is fast asleep-

they don´t even ask where he is -

not even a peep

#

some children are born lucky 

so what will be will be-

this is how my story goes -

for a small little boy like me -
