DOUBT NOT I
Who goes there
You or I?
It is thus
For I cannot tell a lie
You seem to doubt
But don’t say why
You ask the way
And I say it’s as the crow flies
You dither and stutter
As I point the way
I wonder why you stopped me
From going about my way?
I wish to help
And will not lead you astray
I have no games I need to play
Truth is what I live by
I always mean what I say
Come let us go
I will lead the way
Please do not worry
Or dismay
I am as true as I say

thank you..my problem is getting people to assess me as someone who is worth listening to and whos advice they can take... I tend to pre-empt problems and unless someone can see what I see maybe into the future then no one listens...
