Poem -

DOWN AND OUT

Face unshaven he looks a scruff
Living on a street is certainly tough
Wonders if he can afford a cup of tea
Nothing in this world is completely free

The shoes he wears could do with repair
Same as his clothes holes are now there
Be nice he thinks if he could eat today
Anything will do that's what he will say

It's late now and he needs a place to sleep
These facts of life will make you weep
So if you see him in your town or city
Offer him love and show him some pity
