Down in the meadows 💕
Oh how I loved those meandering meadow flowers that were just growing wild
Down in the valleys where I used to play
When I was so
carefree and just a little child
These are my memories of a bright, sunny day..
Sitting with my chums making Daisy chains
In amongst yon crimson colourful Clover
Watching the sun setting o’er the hilltop plains
Learning about life as a Mother nature lover..
Beautiful blue bells blowing in the Summer breeze
Whilst I listened to the bleating from the Springtime Lambs
With those mellow yellow Cowslips by the clusters of tall trees
Frolicking in the green, luscious grass and suckling on their fleecy Mams
As those dazzling dewdrops glistened with the buzzing of the honey bees...
