Down In The Valley
Bryn Jones said that the mine was going to close,
what they would do then was difficult, nobody knows;
I went down three mines - salt, gypsum and gold,
in the latter, I went down five thousand feet, bold.
I found your heart in the strata, yellow and blue,
it had been there waiting to see what I would do,
I carefully levered it from the wall, so lovely,
was ready to look after, watch fine and love me.
When we came up to the surface, it was still warm,
I had to find a body, make sure that it came to no harm,
The Body Shop was just the place, beautiful figure,
a mind of it's own, told me to make sure I love her.
We left the shop, assembled, so lovely to hold,
then and forever, I would always call her gold.
