Drained

Drained

Maybe you don't realize,
or cannot see,
all that you are
doing to me.

You've drained my spirit,
tamed the bull,
and left my will
barely half full.

I scream at night
but smile at day
and keep my true thoughts
hidden away.

You tell me I'm selfish
but it's really you.
I'm the selfless one
and you don't have a clue.
