Dream (E)scape.

Dream (E)scape.

Eyes-wide-open, again I woke within my dream, and in this dream, I felt nothing but dread. An endless sky was a burnished mirror, reflecting all I ever wanted but never had, nor achieved; clouds were faces of those I loved, coveted and lost, and the not-loved-as-much, which I kept; forever tempests. The sun was a toffee coin which I plucked then swallowed whole, but it didn’t burn my hunger, instead my starvations roared.

And in this dream, I was suspended by an unnatural force. There wasn’t an up nor a down; without direction, without north, shorn of south, no east and minus west, the separation of being here and nowhere...and everywhere, was beyond limits; a dreamscape without horizons. My feet never felt the ground, nor was I flying, I was just there: eyes-wide-open, awake in a dream, dreading the thought of waking.

oho! Yes, this one is very special, I must say, dreams can, unfortunately, be much better than reality I'm afraid. We must learn to make compromises in life! I enjoyed the read a lot, the imagery was outstanding
