DREAM SEQUENCE

DREAM SEQUENCE

THE MAN IN MY DREAMS HAD A NARROW MOUSTACHE,
I'D BEEN GIVEN INSTRUCTIONS FOR HIS ASSASSINATION,
WHY DID I HAVE TO WORK IN MY DREAMS - NO REST,
I SUPPOSE THAT IT WAS URGENT AND THEY NEW BEST.

I WOULD SAVE THE LIVES OF MILLIONS OF PEOPLE,
HOWEVER, I HAD MY DOUBTS - THEY SAID THAT YOU COULD NOT
CHANGE THE EVENTS OF THE PAST, MAYBE THE FUTURE,
THE WAY WE MIGHT BE AND NOT THE WAY WE WERE.

IT WAS TIME TO DO WHAT I HAD TO DO, I WAS THE BEST;
THE GREY WHITE OF BERCHTESGADEN DRIFTED INTO VIEW,
HIS HIDEOUT, AN IMPENETRABLE FORTRESS SO THEY SAY,
NOT TO ME, I WAS READY, NOW I WAS BACK INTO YESTERDAY.

PERHAPS I COULD HAVE SHOT PILATE WHILE I WAS IN THE PAST,
BUT THE TIME WAS SHORT, THIS DREAM WASN'T GOING TO LAST.

Cool dream and sonnet! Too stressful for me! I would have fallen off the mountain or something! ..........................Jim
