Dream that Dream

Don’t forget to dream a dream,
even if you’re wide awake...
Don’t forget life can be good,
when you learn that you must take
each chance that comes infrequently
and with your arms open wide,
embrace the time to dream your dream
and don’t be terrified.
By reaching out and stepping into territory unknown
you may just catch your hearts desire
and it will take you home.
Within your reach a brand new life
that’s there for you to follow
so stretch right out and grasp that thought,
And let it fill life's hollow

Never sure how you do it Lodi??..you take a subject and write about it in the simplest of ways yet its construction, message and emotion are so subtley infused that the real genius of your writing is always deceiving...I read through a lot of your stuff recently and was blown away by your talent..will you ever publish your poems? you really should you know.A lovely write as always! xx
