Dream World

A head thats filled with dreams and wonder, stories burst open as you slumber,
Mermaids swim and dragons breathe fire, fairies fly as you admire,
Diving deep into a fox’s den, through the networks its dug where will it end?
You exit at the tree stump, see a pot of gold, a rainbow bursting from ground untold,Â
The greenest of grasses and the bluest of skies, what a blessing to see, even with closed eyes,
Soaring high above the trees, no fear of falling, past the stars and the moon straight on til morning Â
Time is warped, situations twisted, sometimes you jump, lay there unassisted,
Time to wake up but oh what a shame, another adventure you’ll create when you sleep again.

Hi Tony!!! Long time no speak! I’m back at my writing now! Thank you for your kind Words! I’m hoping I dream well tonight! So I can create more poems!! Xx
Hey, Jessica.
The old, "It was all just a dream" ploy used here, I see.
Nice rhyming and rhythm throughout.
A poem set in the most wondrous of fantasy realms--the dreamworld.
Bravo...
