Poem -
Dreaming
Words desecrating my bonesย
Air asphyxiating my lungs,
Lies shattering like stonesย
Blood dripping how it comes;
Desolation filling me with dreadย
Perjurers wanting people dead
Blisters corroding my skinย
Yellow smoke flows,
Searching for the equivocating sin
Men aghast as they froze,
People running for their livesย
Lamenting wives as they cry;
Crashing of shells surroundingย
Turrets from tanks crashing,
Bullets from guns poundingย
Close combat knives slashingย
Being stuffed in body bags;
Limbs being blown into rags
Dying men holding on to every last breathย
Something need to hurry up death:
Moribund men screamingย
Wishing I was dreaming.
