Yesterday was but a dreaming nightmare
That flounder fish swim away from
Or drown within
Funny thing
A fish can drown deep within the ocean
Such a disappointing notion
Swimming around in motion
But constantly treading water
How does a fish foretell the darkness
As it dives into the deep
No secrets in the water to keep
Just the notion
Constant swimming motion
Drowning within the darkness
of the unchartered ocean.
