DREAMLAND

Dreamland is a most wonderful place 
Time to be at one for a breathing space
Dreams are yours and yours alone 
Analysed by Freud is well known 

My dreams on occasions come true 
If you think positively they sometimes do
My other dreams are pure speculation 
Like peace on earth for every nation 

Last night I dreamt I was on a boat 
On a desert island that was far remote 
No cares I had nor any worries as well 
Away from this virus and this living hell

I woke next morning in a cold sweat 
Arguments outside made me soon forget 
Hold onto your dreams make them last 
Life and reality go by so incredibly fast
