Driving myself insane

What is the meaning of life if one chooses not to believe in a singular God? What is the meaning of this life otherwise?

Not choosing to believe is not a sin. The thought of being created, being given a life you never asked for to serve a God you do not believe in.

You're stuck

What meaning is left? What is the true purpose of this life? No one knows what's after this "life." We only guess to comfort ourselves.

In truth
We are in the here and now. We have a severe lack of certainty on when we'll pass away. "Legacy" is too far fetched for a no name kid barely 18. We are never promised a thing, but a gurantee of absolute death at any given time.

Live now. Enjoy as best you can. One day it will all end. But do not fear. Everyone is unclear what lays beyond.

Absolute nothingness or a man with a beard behind pearly gates?

Live in the now.

I drove myself insane once, Jordan.
It was a very short trip, heh-heh-heh.

Look, we're ALL gonna face death eventually.
You're right about that.
Death can't be reasoned with.
It won't be bargained with.
When it's our time to go, we'd best be prepared.
We all may run the race of life differently. However, we'll all reach the same destination in the end.
The only thing I'll hate about crossing that final finish line of life is that I won't be able to gloat by friends and family, "Hah! I beat you, and I got here first!"
Nice writing...

Hello Jordan...

Welcome to Cosmo!

Ask yourself something...

Is it better to live and believe in God and find out He doesn't exist or live and not believe and find out He does exist?

There's been too much evidence in my life for me which He made certain I knew He is very real...

People have to have their own experiences and hopefully it doesn't take a near death experience...

Some don't get another chance to return and talk about it...

His children, His chosen they know...

Great write!

Thank you for sharing...

Hugs...

Why believe in something for the sake of, and let's be honest here, hope of ending up somewhere good. What if he doesn't exist? What if he was just a made up guy made up by a handful of other guys. History has its' fair share of embellishments. Man is SEVERELY flawed. Truth has never been a strong suit in our history...although hyperbole has been. Why is this any diffrent? People sacrifice everything for a God that takes as he pleases. He permits rapist to get off scott free after victimizing a little girl. Christans use whatever logic best suits them to make and validate thier faith. "It was just her time" is not good enough. This God is twisted.

Hello Jordan...

If you read the Bible you will understand more...

Satan has his ways and it's up to us as an individual what we are going to do...

Jesus is our Representative...

When you talk about rapists...

There are more than one person in that situation...

Each person has a responsibility...

God isn't twisted...

Some Christians if we believe and follow their ways that's trouble...

Because, they're confused...

We all can have a person relationship with the Lord...

But, it begins with ourselves and wanting to know Him and follow Him...

That's a choice we make...

Not what someone else is doing...

Our soul is ours no one else's...

Theirs are theirs not ours...

Hugs...
