"Droppin' in on Jersey Street"

There's always the dangle of pick pockets Jersey doggin'
And slob toothed vagabonds shoutin' bout city sprawlin'
Across the dirty sandwich faces who's crime is cloggin'
Steely-eyed faith thumpers and high dollar plumbers
Buying absolution for their drug infested daughters
And brawlers for lovers who invite prostitution in
Down dank where the low breeds bump and hump
Through welfare checks and Christmas cash
Taken from their best friends grandmother's purses
And worse, becomes anger, and the fever strikes home
Somebody dies and headlines lead to bogus stupefaction
And somebody dies again, there's bodies buried out back
So that "we the people" can sleep at night
Just to deal with more daytime smack.....
