Drowning sailor

 Hellhounds voice
splinters saved curse
jagged sabre
torn cloth
souls missing frame
painted mournings
veiled  white horses
black feathers fly

counted fathoms
drunken shillings
Rum before the mast shatter
swirling shore
Gods tempted twist
find me not alone
depth  deeper than the sinful dark

beneath a jaw of bone
i marry my death
raise the flags i sent home
lovers breast holds the fasten close
i am drowned
eaten beaten chained too wheel
sold for a treasure held in a knock of sand
worn down by the glass
steel cannons fist and punch
bitten by a whipped start
im drowned

Whale town
slate blank the gravestones read
wind swept by lovers lash
they watch waiting for a sailors return
empty chests of empty worlds
sweet misty ghosts
waited to be saved
i am drowned
