Dusk Serendipity

Dusk Serendipity

Floating just above my head
I discovered you by your enticing scent
The bees did also give you away
Their humming, your location betray
Hovering before the sunset
At the end of the day

Full and compact
I admired your bursting bright
Of violet mane laces
Framing smiling blue faces
Exuding love's light
In petalled graces

Like a frozen firework
I took an awe's breath
Let the delight flood
My childlike mood
Far away from death
Knowing God is good

Thank you for reaching up
Meeting me in the sky
It was a pleasure to acquaint
You floated like a saint
Or lotus dragonfly
And coloured my gloom with paint
