Dying call

Dying call

Too long have I carried these weights
My shoulders have gotten weak
Now every fibre of my heart aches
Yet my future may not be bleak
.
Perhaps my soul is getting tired
Of these lies and fake smiles
In this century friends can be hired
Yet for you I’d walk a thousand miles
.
In time truth will be seen by love
All false prophets shall fall
For me the sun will shine bright from above
And forever we will stand tall.
