Poem -

Dying light

Lost

I’ve lost myself
In so many people who have done me wrong
I’ve let them take over my life
And I wish I could have it back
So I could trust again, be happy again
But I can’t have it
Because they stole it
stomped it
and threw it into an ocean.
I won't dare to enter those waters
Those icy cold waters that feel like knives as you dive deeper into it
I will not enter not because I hate the cold.
But simply because I cannot swim.

The fish of the sea

I hear you Janice. Here you exactly and explicitly. I love the analogy, not just because of my account name its expression is fantastic. So very relatable. As I am just a random person who I'm not here to give advice, but if you're looking for a comfortable atmosphere to share your pain, this is the place to do so. Cosmos is so walm and inviting and heaps of people will hear you out. It's what lead me to poetry too ;). So welcome!!! Smiles and calm waters to you. The Fish of the Sea
