Dying Wish
The light of day fades fast
How much longer will I last ?
Will I see another day ?
What last words can I say ?
I've put up such a fight
Shall I slip away this night ?
..................................
What is to become of me ?
Where will I spend eternity ?
All I have now are memories
I hope, with my life, God agrees
Praying for all I leave behind
Hoping happiness and love they find
.....................................
Yes, it is tonight this has to end.....
"A final wish for peace to all I send"
I know if this were to come true
A blessing will be bestowed on you
Don't be upset at my passing
The joy I feel now is everlasting.
