Dysfunctional society
A women sitting on her front porch,
weathered and frayed with flowers in her hair,
a cup of hot tea in her hands,
she waits.
a man surrounded by everyone,
but alone to himself,
secluded in his mind which causes separation in his heart.
he waits patiently searching.
a child, surrounded by angry voices and loud corupt noises.
she only feels safe in her own imaginary world.
hungry and lonely, abused, she wishes she was a bird, to fly far away, so she prays, and she waits.
their malnuroushed hands yearn for someone to reach out
and grasp them.
to pull them away from where they remain.
crisp autumn smoke fills the air,
almost as if it were a sign.Ā
People come to power as if they can fix the world around them.Ā
But how can you fix something when you're the problem that needs fixing?
looking towards others, saying,
"you're the problem?" When it goes so much deeper than the seekers soul.
look into the eyes of your lover, then tell me what you see,
everything warm and beautiful... Or is it meant to be?
procrastination is doubt in a horrible shade of grey,
it molds to different colors to invade its self in masquerades
of diffrent spectacular wonders,
what is this hope we hold on to?
for all I see is fate,Ā
a straight line is a line,
no questions to big or too small,
a circle is a circle a repetivtive one but it is.
unless you trace my brain with a stencil it will never come out the same.
we wait forever,
and hold on to hope,
as time sneaks up on us,
and ages us,
and loses us,
patience remains,
and in its glorious days,
the breeze sings as if to say,
everything will be okay.
i went off into the ocean somewhere,
To Ā see the deep sea wonders,
i prayed to see a better life,
and hope the Angels catch me before I drown

Thank you. I literally had an epiphany when I wrote that poem. It was freaky.
