Sea
salty tears that fill the sea
her body aches out of feathers out of gold,
we hang the sails on the poles.
as grey clouds start to rise,
the captain says goodbye,
her body sinks to the sea,
all she's meant to be,
drowing drowing, now she's drowing peacefully,
sparkles shimmers shines,
her bones, her bones, your bones,
hauntings of her memories sneak back up on me,
hold on to her. Hold on.
hearts that bitter drunken bleed,
your whiskey burboned lungs,
hold on to her heart.
stormy days turn to nights,
and your out of sight,
so jump, to her heart,
keep falling, keep falling to the sea,
and her bones, and her bones,
are just a memory.

your syntax is intriguing, Victoria Alberico, lyrical....I enjoyed reading, you do some unusual things with words that hold the reader's interest, I like it....keep an eye out for some grammatical errors, but you have solid poetic elements; flow, imagery, context... welcome hereÂ
Thank you :) it's suposed to be like a hard core scream metal song but they didn't have those tags :/ and I know about my spelling.... And to think I want to become a English teacher! Lol first person I would ever know to become a dyslexic English teacher! LolÂ
lol, naah, you're really good, that's why they invented 'spellcheck' there's nothing yet invented that can 'create' poetry or creativity....I'll read again with the 'hard core scream metal song' tag....and 'please' don't post too much more of your work today, need time to digest properly, cheers Â
